be pro active

I had cervical cancer. Since some of the cancer was found in my lymp nodes, they told me to get radiation and chemo therapy. Not one of the doctors told me about radiation burns. I am so angry about this especially since the radiation burns was in a very private area, if you know what I mean. The way I found out was from the nurse at my Ob/GYN docs office. She used to work at a chemo center. I described it to her and she stated I have a radiation burn. Long story short, do your own research. If there is something you dont like, you dont have to do it. I had to many doctors telling me one thing or another and none of it seems to be the same or consistant.
I feel like I am being much more pro active with my treatment and have cut back to 2 docs I like. The rest of them, well, if I never see them again it wont hurt my feelings at all.
Sure I'm still scared and I hope for the best. But this experience has been a nightmare. I hope no one ever has to go thru this like I did. That 7 cream sounds like a dream come true. I hope I can find it in my area. Thanks for the help.
